LAK-12 Sailplane pages Rule #8 Insert as many as possible Animated GIFs on each and every page!!
Remember, Internet moving with a speed of light and there is no point to hold back. Just move along and show people that you're not some web designer who can't put together a nicely animated page.

Rule #9 "Under Construction" warning !!!
On the top of the first page (but it's a good idea to have it on each and every page) you should always place the "Under Construction" sign (animated GIF will work much better though). Your visitors should know as soon as possible that you're always adding new material as adding new material is not a common thing on the Internet.

Rule #10 Running line is very important too...
Running line in the Browser status is a great place to add those pieces of information that didn't fit on your page. Many JavaScript programs are freely available on the Internet. Long running line of text can make your whole web site more informative and attractive. Who in the world needs to know how long will it take to finish loading this page or the URL of the link you're about to click???!!! This information is totally worthless and designers of the browsers didn't know what they were doing....

Rule #11 WIDTH and HEIGHT picture tags are totally optional
In <IMG SRC=....> tag information about width and height of the image are totally optional. On the end browser will figure out the image size on its own (after checking with the server). Those browsers are smart!
Really, why would you waste your time putting every other tag in your source? It saves time on the end. But you probably know it already....

Rule #12 < ...   ALT=..> image tag
This tag was designed to show text description of the image when image is not loaded yet or when you place your mouse cursor over the image. If you have a beautifully designed button that will help navigating your site why show the meaning of the button before it is loaded?? People can click on the link before image is displayed and miss the chance to see the button itself.

Rule #13 In short - FRAMES
Use as many frames as possible! It'll distract your visitors in no time and if some glitch present in your design they'll probably miss it.... but they'd be able to see the whole picture and your idea in wide prospective...

Rule #14 <BLINK> tag
If you want to attract attention to the specific information on your page, there is a great way to do so. Use <BLINK> tag widely. As you may imagine it's easier to read text when it blinks and definitely attracts a lot of attention. You can be reassured - if your links are blinking - people definately will click on it.
